Kapanlagi.com - This year's Ramadan certainly feels very different due to the corona virus pandemic. That's also felt by artist Mona Ratuliu. Although she has prepared various foods to welcome the fasting month, she can't imagine fasting and being only at home.

"So far, the preparation for fasting is only about food. Because the only entertainment is breaking the fast and suhoor. As for the rest, oh I can't imagine fasting for 24 hours at home," said Mona Ratuliu when contacted by KapanLagi.com on Thursday (23/4).

1. Busy During Ramadan

Because all this time during Ramadan, Mona Ratuliu has always been busy with various activities outside the house. Because by keeping busy, fasting feels less burdensome.

"Because for us, Ramadan is actually more enjoyable with normal activities. Even though it's filled with various worship," said the beautiful artist who is currently pregnant with her fourth child.

"But still, when you're bored, what can you do? Usually, on normal days, when you're bored, you eat, cook. Nala also follows along and cooks. My son also ends up cooking. But what do you do during Ramadan, I can't imagine because I haven't experienced fasting at home," she continued.

2. Missing Coffee at Cafes

It's been almost a month at home as recommended by the government, Mona Ratuliu and her husband Indra Brasco are starting to feel bored. They miss activities like having coffee at cafes.

"(The kids) in the first week, maybe they didn't understand why we have to be like this. But now they have adapted, they never ask to go out. It's actually the parents who are cranky now because they're starting to get bored at home, usually meeting friends, having coffee outside," she said.

"I'm starting to miss small things like yesterday my husband said he wanted to drink coffee latte using a glass, it has to be at a cafe. (Now) when we buy coffee, we use plastic or paper cups, take away. But I want to sit in the restaurant using a glass. Always wanting something. It's more the parents who miss normal activities like before," Mona Ratuliu concluded.
