The lawsuit by Ressa Rizky Rossan against singer Denada regarding allegations of child neglect continues to pique public curiosity. One of the big questions that arises is about the identity of the biological father of the 24-year-old young man.

In an online interview session, Ressa's attorney, Andika Meigista, emphasized that their main priority at the moment is to fight for their client's civil rights regarding her mother. According to him, the legal relationship between a child and a mother is absolute and protected by law, regardless of who the father is.

"Let me clarify this. The child born has a civil relationship with her mother, yes. That's why I am limited to fighting for Ressa's rights as determined or established in the law," said Andika Meigista when met via Zoom on Thursday (15/01/2026).

Andika explained that the discussion regarding the biological father has not become their agenda. He considers that matter is not within the scope that needs to be discussed in the ongoing civil lawsuit.

The focus of the legal team is to prove that Denada has obligations towards Ressa. The issue regarding the biological father is considered too far to discuss at this time. "So if we talk about the concept of the father, it's still not that far yet," he added.

Nevertheless, Andika does not rule out the possibility that information regarding the biological father will be revealed in the future. However, he hopes that this can be discovered by Ressa herself once her status as a child is recognized.

"Yes, thank God if there is already recognition from her mother, maybe later that information will be uncovered by the child herself. But that is not our domain and it does not fall under one of the parts of the object in our lawsuit. That's it," explained Andika.

Ressa herself claims to not know who her biological father is. This lawsuit is purely based on Ressa's desire to gain recognition from her mother after living in uncertainty for so long.
