Will Continue Education in Egypt, Oki Setiana Dewi Willing to Have Long Distance Relationship with Husband

Artist Oki Setiana Dewi will soon pursue education in Egypt. Whether she likes it or not, this 34-year-old woman has to be willing to be separated from her husband and children.

In relation to this, Oki admitted that she is ready for a long distance relationship (LDR) with her husband, Ory Vitrio. Later, Oki Setiana Dewi will bring her eldest daughter, Maryam, who happens to continue her school there.

"Yes, indeed, when we pursue knowledge, there will always be something sacrificed for a while, not forever. Maryam has the urgency to depart to Egypt at her elementary school age," said Oki Setiana Dewi when met in the Dharmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (1/11).

"So let's see. That's the plan of humans. If Allah says yes, it can happen. If not, maybe not next year, maybe the year after that," he continued

Currently, Oki has just returned from Egypt to submit the necessary documents as requirements for Maryam and herself to continue their education in that country.

In addition to the long-distance relationship with her husband, Oki also considers another factor, which is her fourth child, Sulaiman, who has Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). However, Oki mentioned that Sulaiman's condition has been stable in the past two years.

"So I think, if there is sustenance, it doesn't mean that we won't come back from Egypt. If there is sustenance, we can come back, and not all of the family members will be brought to Egypt at the beginning," she concluded.
