Yovie Widianto Targets Tiara Andini Since Indonesian Idol Competition

Kapanlagi.com - Musician Yovie Widianto has created a new music series project called "ArTi Untuk Cinta". In this project, Yovie invited singer Tiara Andini to collaborate with Arsy Widianto. Yovie intentionally involved Tiara Andini in this "ArTi Untuk Cinta" music series project because she has a unique way of expressing songs.

"The first time I met her (Tiara), she was still in the top three of Indonesian Idol. I saw something unique in her way of expressing songs. For me, the essence of a singer is how they can express themselves," said Yovie in a virtual press conference on Friday (15/1/2021).

1. Has Wanted to Collaborate for a Long Time

Yovie Widianto has wanted to collaborate with Tiara Andini for a long time. In fact, since Tiara was still participating in the Indonesian Idol competition. Back then, when Tiara was still a contestant, Yovie had talked about the collaboration.

"I also saw that Tiara has the ability to interpret words in songs. I've whispered to Tiara before (about collaboration) after Idol, and it turns out we're meant to collaborate," he said.

2. Bring Four Songs

In the project "ArTi Untuk Cinta", Tiara and Arsy will be performing four songs at once. Out of the four, one song is written in Korean. Of course, these songs are not without the touch of Yovie Vidianto's expertise.

"At first, I thought it was just one or two songs. But it turns out that it's good to make it longer, and we have the support from Universal Music Indonesia," Yovie concluded.
