Yudha Arfandi Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison, Angger Dimas Remains Unyielding

Kapanlagi.com - After nearly a month of absence from the world of social media, Angger Dimas, a musician and the father of the late Dante, reappeared with a loud voice. He questioned the decision of the East Jakarta District Court judges who imposed a 20-year prison sentence on Yudha Arfandi.

The judges found that Yudha had been proven legally and convincingly to have committed premeditated murder against Raden Adante Khalif Pramudityo or Dante, the 6-year-old son of Tamara Tyasmara.

Upon hearing the sentence imposed on Yudha Arfandi, Angger Dimas felt very dissatisfied. He also submitted a request for this decision to be reviewed for the sake of justice.

"It has been almost 1 month since I took a break from social media after hearing the judge's verdict, which my family and I consider to be very unfair; I have requested a review, but it has not been heeded," wrote Angger Dimas.

In an Instagram Stories post on Thursday (1/28/2024), Angger Dimas appeared emotional about the verdict handed down to Yudha Arfandi. He wrote against a plain black background, indicating how heavy the loss of his son is. His pain intensified when he heard the verdict from the Panel of Judges, which was far from his expectations, even though the Prosecutor had previously sought the death penalty for Yudha Arfandi.

Angger Dimas admitted that he is unwilling to accept the decision. He feels that the 20-year prison sentence is unfair, considering the perpetrator took his son's life.

"With this, I declare that I will never accept the loss of my child and the sentence given."

Nevertheless, Angger Dimas still respects this decision because it has entered the legal realm. He also referred to it as a decision from God's representatives and entrusts justice to Allah in the afterlife.

"However, since it has entered the legal realm, I respect the decision of the God's representatives involved. I believe Allah will provide what is fair and equal in this world or the hereafter," continued Angger Dimas.

4. The Mother Has Passed Away

On this occasion, Angger also expressed his gratitude to various parties, especially to his mother. It is known that his mother has always believed that Dante's death in the swimming pool was a murder case.

"On this occasion, I want to thank my family. The late mother who told me that this was murder on the first day and until she passed away (may Allah protect my mother and Dante, amen)," wrote Angger Dimas.

Now, Angger Dimas's mother has passed away. Angger Dimas prays that his mother and Dante rest peacefully by His side. He also expresses deep gratitude to his father, his brother, and all parties who have faithfully accompanied them during Dante's trial, fighting for justice for the deceased.

"My father, who always mobilizes the movement I created 2 days after the murder, namely #JusticeForDante, and who has always been steadfast in overseeing this case - My brother has also always been involved in correspondence with law enforcement," concluded Angger Dimas.
