During a live session on Instagram Miles Films on Monday (8/6/2020), Hanung expressed his uneasiness upon learning about Zaskia's pregnancy. He welcomed what should have been happy news with a heavy heart.
"No, I'm not happy. Because I had a really tough time with the last one. This was unexpected," said the renowned director.

Hanung Bramantyo said that he became the third person to know when Zaskia Adya Mecca was pregnant. First, his wife contacted her mother followed by a friend from the study group in tears.
"Ironically, when I found out she was pregnant, I was actually the third person Zaskia contacted. It's rude. The first person was her mother, and the second was her friend from the study group. It makes me even more annoyed. Both of them were crying," said the director of the film BUMI MANUSIA.
Hanung Bramantyo was a bit annoyed to be the third person to know about Zaskia's pregnancy. However, he later understood why he was in that position.
"So maybe the reason I became the third person is because she needed to gather strength to talk to her husband, 'Should I be angry at my husband or what should I do?'. Maybe that's it," said the 44-year-old man with a laugh.
