Zoni's Verdict Hearing Postponed Because the Judge Was Not Ready to Read the Verdict, Ammar Zoni: Ready, Sir

"Defendant Muhammad Ammar Akbar alias Ammar Zoni. Are you in good health, Ammar Zoni?" asked the judge to Ammar Zoni, from the courtroom.

At that moment, Ammar Zoni responded firmly, "Ready, always healthy," replied Ammar Zoni.

The judge then explained the reason for the postponement of the verdict reading, which was because the panel of judges had only received a letter from the Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP) on August 15, 2024, which had just been received by the court. The letter became one of the important considerations before the verdict was read.

"Are you healthy? So, because we will read the verdict after the judge receives a letter from BNNP dated August 15, just yesterday. The letter was addressed to the West Jakarta Court. So the verdict will be read on Monday, August 26, 2024," said the judge.

Ammar Zoni listened carefully and confirmed that he understood the postponement. "Ready, Sir. Ready," he replied.

After that, the judge asked if there were any questions from the defendant, the public prosecutor, or the legal counsel.

Ammar Zoni, the public prosecutor, and the legal counsel all stated that there were no further questions. "Thank you, that's enough, Sir," said Ammar.  

The judge officially closed the session, stating that the verdict will be read on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM WIB. "Yes, I declare the session closed. On Monday, August 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM WIB. That's all," the judge concluded
