His Father Was a Former Construction Worker, Denny Caknan Responds to the Viral Parody Content 'Javanese Laborer'

A video circulating on TikTok parodies Javanese food and laborers. The video was uploaded by the account @triorakus_ some time ago. Although the owner or creator of the content has provided clarification, the video clips have already spread and gone viral.

"Why is most of the cuisine from Java? In the sense of Central Java and East Java? Cuisine has the prefix, Kuli. For example, Soto Lamongan from East Java, Bakso from Malang," reads the conversation in the video.

As a dangdut singer from the Javanese tribe, Denny Caknan felt offended by the content. Denny then created content on his TikTok reacting to the 'Javanese laborer' content.

In his upload description, Denny Caknan admitted to being offended by the conversation of people in that content.

"As a child of a laborer, it does hurt (my heart) indeed," wrote Denny Caknan in Javanese.

The singer of Cundamani then recounted that he remains proud to be a child of a laborer. As is known, Denny Caknan's father used to work on projects for over a decade.

Denny Caknan's father became the stage name 'Caknan' which brought good luck. Denny's father's name is Kasnan, or in Java often called Cak Nan.

"Being a laborer is also halal, you know. I, as a child of (a laborer), am still proud," wrote this husband of Bella Bonita.

Denny then mentioned his father's service that could provide education for him and his family, even though he used to work as a project worker.

"Being able to make a living, educate children, besides that the family can eat every day. Alhamdulillah," concluded Denny Caknan.
