"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun, at half past 11 I received the news, which was very shocking to me, namely the passing of my colleague, my friend, our brother, the late Hamdan Attamimi or known as Hamdan ATT," said Mansyur S at the mourning house, Tuesday (1/7/2025).

For years in his career on the dangdut stage, Mansyur S. and Hamdan ATT often performed together. According to him, there are many moments that are still vividly remembered.

"I think as colleagues in the same profession, there are so many impressions that I can't forget with the late one, both in our careers and when we were on stage together, there was Husein Alhabsy, and others who were close to us," he said.

"I feel a great sense of loss, but whatever it is, let us pray together, hopefully Allah accepts his good deeds and forgives all his sins," said Mansyur S.

"If his wife ever said, after the father had surgery, his condition deteriorated, it dropped a lot," he said. In his memory, Hamdan ATT's condition was indeed reported to have declined after undergoing surgery, as conveyed by the late man's wife.

Mansyur S. also had a conversation with the late man's wife about two weeks before the sad news arrived. "Two weeks ago, yes, during the competition I happened to sit at the same table as his wife, we talked and I asked how Haji was doing after the operation," he recalled.

At that time, his wife mentioned that Hamdan's condition continued to decline after the operation. As a lifelong friend in the arts, Mansyur S. ended his statement with a prayer. "Hopefully we will have long lives and be blessed by Allah SWT," he concluded.
