Dandy Alhazmi or commonly known as Hazmi is the only Aceh Province ambassador who still survives in the Indonesian Dangdut League (LIDA) 2021. In one occasion, he admitted that he had participated in the LIDA selection in the first season (2018). However, he only managed to pass in this season (fourth season).

This man from Lhokseumawe City revealed that his singing talent has emerged since he was a child. His family has always supported Hazmi's talent.

Hazmi is a final semester student at the Faculty of Sharia Economics, Malikussaleh University (UNIMAL). The main campus of this public university is located in Reuleuet, North Aceh Regency, NAD Province.

His appearance in the LIDA 2021 event received full support from the chief of police in Lhokseumawe. He expressed his gratitude to many parties who have supported him, including the Lhokseumawe City Government.

In the artist audition round, Hazmi performed the songs 'Nurjanah' and 'Dawai Asmara'. He qualified to become the ambassador of Aceh along with Darma Tasya. However, Darma's journey in LIDA 2021 was halted in the Top 70 round.

In his latest performance in the Top 42 round, Hazmi performed the song Mengejar Badai by Nanang S. Hazmi's performance successfully impressed the judges and he received a Standing Ovation (SO) from all the judges.

It turns out that this is not the first time Hazmi has received an SO from all the judges. In the Top 70 round, he also received it when performing the song Ini Dangdut.

In the Top 56 round, Hazmi received an SO from Dewi Perssik. Even the famous dangdut singer known for her saw dance asked Hazmi to repeat the song Tajamnya Cinta that he performed in the high notes part.
