70 Ambassadors from 34 Provinces Ready to Compete on the Stage of Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2020 with a Fresh New Concept

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully holding the first and second seasons of the Indonesian Dangdut League (LIDA) which crowned Selfi and Faul as champions in each season, at the beginning of this year, Indosiar is once again holding the third season of LIDA or LIDA 2020.

In 2020, LIDA successfully attracted more than 16,000 participants from 34 provinces. From the many participants who auditioned, the best 70 Provincial Ambassadors were selected to compete on the LIDA 2020 stage.

"These are the Ambassadors from 34 provinces, so today is the launch of the third season of the Indonesian Dangdut League where today we are also holding a Pancasila concert for the participants who will perform and at the same time find out who will compete later," said Harsiwi Achmad, Director of Programming SCM during a press briefing at the Emtek City multipurpose room, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon (23/1).

"Previously, we have been conducting this dangdut talent search event for seven consecutive years, but this time in this year, we present audition episodes and the results have been well received by the public," he added.

1. Different Concept

Not only that, different from previous events, LIDA 2020 also presents a fresher and different concept. The judging system will be divided into two, namely the Red Team judges consisting of Soimah, Inul Daratista, Nassar, Dewi Perssik, and Zaskia Gotik, and the White Team or Quality Millennial Judges including Lesti, Fildan, Reza, and Weni.

"The judging system will also be different, it will be divided into two, there will be Quality Millennial Judges or the White Team, while top senior artists will be the Red Team. There will be episodes where these two teams of judges will meet to give their comments to the participants," said Harsiwi Achmad.

2. New Host

In addition, not only the arrangement of the judging panel is different, but the hosts also have a new formation. Rara LIDA will be present as a new host along with Irfan Hakim, Ramzi, and Gilang Dirga.

The LIDA 2020 competition will be opened with the introduction of 70 selected Provincial Ambassadors through a concert titled Bhineka Tunggal Ika which will be broadcasted tonight, Thursday, January 23, 2020, live at 20.00 WIB on Indosiar.
