Owan's journey (Boalemo) to achieve the title of champion of Dangdut Academy 6 has finally come to an end. He successfully won first place in Dangdut Academy season 6, defeating Novia (Serang).
Earning much praise from the jury, Owan proves that his hard work to become a dangdut star has finally paid off. Let's take a look at the photos and some facts about Owan (Boalemo), the champion of Dangdut Academy 6!
Having the full name Hariyanto Tuna, Owan's appearance on the D'Academy 6 stage always manages to impress the judges. He comes from Boalemo, Gorontalo Province.
Apparently, before participating in D'Academy 6, Owan was a fisherman and a Quran teacher. He revealed this during an interview with the KapanLagi team, "Initially, I was just a sailor," said Owan. "Besides being a sailor, I am also a Quran teacher in the village." Owan continued.
In an interview with the KapanLagi team, Owan also mentioned that his habit of singing kasidah songs helped him learn the dangdut style, "Kasidah usually involves melodic variations, which are also needed in dangdut." explained Owan.
During the D'Academy 6 competition, Owan was seen being close with Yuda and Ammar DA 6.
They shared the moment of their closeness through Ammar's personal Instagram. In his caption, he wrote, "Friend".
