Nursia Samsudin is one of the three ambassadors from North Maluku Province in the Indonesian Dangdut League (LIDA) 2021. Nursia consistently received the highest polling in the Top 70 and Top 56 rounds.

Nursia comes from Mandiri Village, South Morotai District, North Maluku Province. Nursia was born in 2006 and is currently studying at SMA Muhammadiyah II Pulau Morotai.

After passing the online audition, all of Nursia's travel expenses to Jakarta are fully covered by Indosiar. The local government also supports traditional attire and assists with expenses if there are family members accompanying her.

In the Top 70 round, she performed the song Sumpah Benang Emas popularized by Elvi Sukaesih. Her performance successfully impressed all the judges. She received a Standing Ovation (SO) from all the judges.

In the Top 56 round, Nursia admitted to being inspired by Lesti. By participating in LIDA 2021, she wants to elevate her family's dignity.

When presented with a boxed rice, she remembered her parents. In her hometown. Experiencing economic hardship, Nursia and her parents only ate raw coconut milk and rice. She considers boxed rice to be a very luxurious food.

When she returned home from school in the afternoon, she often didn't eat. She often only ate plain rice and even for drinking, Nursia and her family relied only on rainwater.

Her father is a cassava and peanut farmer. Her mother works as a farmer and honorary teacher. In reality, their parents' salaries are still not enough to cover their daily basic needs.

Apparently, her father's health is also quite worrying. Her father often coughs up blood after heavy work. She only buys medicine from small shops to treat her father's illness.
