Through a social media post on Sunday (31/08), this graduate of D'Academy Season Two showcased the aqiqah moment for his first daughter named Diarta Maiza Pramasvara. "Alhamdulillah, the thanksgiving Aqiqah for our daughter DIARTA MAIZA PRAMASVARA has been held," wrote Danang Pradana in his post description.
Diarta Maiza Pramasvara was born on July 22, 2025. Entering the age of 1.5 months, Danang & Hemas Nura held a thanksgiving aqiqah as part of the tradition of Muslims when blessed with a child.
Aqiqah is the slaughtering of sacrificial animals (in the form of goats) as a manifestation of gratitude for the birth of a baby. The meat from the slaughtered animal is then cooked and distributed to those entitled to receive it (usually orphans in orphanages).
Those parties are usually invited to the place where the aqiqah is held to pray together for the baby who is being aqiqah.
In the aqiqah ceremony, there is also a process of cutting some of the baby's hair, symbolizing purification. Iis Dahlia had the honor of participating in the hair cutting ceremony, as a more senior figure in the dangdut scene than Danang.
On a different occasion, Danang explained the meaning of his child's first name, Diarta Maiza Pramasvara. "So Diarta is taken from Sanskrit, 'Di' means divine light, pure light, and 'Arta' means glory, welfare," explained Danang.
"Maiza is taken from Arabic, and Maiza means wisdom, intelligence, honesty, someone who can distinguish between good and bad," he continued.
Meanwhile, the last name 'Pramasvara' is a combination of the names Danang and Nura, which means main voice, a hope that the child can become a connector of the voice of goodness
