The intense duel between the two finalists of Dangdut Academy 6 has finally ended and Owan (Boalemo) emerged as the first champion, defeating Novia (Serang). However, for Owan himself, continuing his career is not his main goal. Apparently, there is a noble intention from Owan to elevate the status of both parents and help pay for his sibling's education.
"If my plan goes well, I want to make everyone happy to see me," said Owan when met at Studio 5 Indosiar, West Jakarta, on Wednesday night, February 21.
"And I also hope to elevate the status of both parents and educate my sibling," he added.
Not only that, when asked further, it turns out there is another thing that motivates Owan to become the champion of Dangdut Academy 6.
Apparently, because his father had borrowed land, it motivated Owan to find a way to reduce his parents' burden. As a result, Owan's struggle paid off. With the prize money from his victory, Owan is ready to help his father.
"Coincidentally, my father had borrowed someone else's land and that land was going to be sold, which was also one of the motivations for joining here. My father was stressed because of that land, and thankfully he found a job, but the landowner wanted to take it back and sell it to my father for Rp 20 million, but he didn't have the money yet,
"So with this (prize money), I can finally pay off (the land borrowed by my father)," he said.
Owan Boalemo, the champion of Dangdut Academy 6, is happy to be able to duet directly with Lesti on stage.
