The online world is buzzing with a video of Saipul Jamil being seen on the highway. It is suspected that this man, who is familiarly known as Ipul, was arrested by the police for a drug case. Kompol Donny Agung Harvida, the Tambora Police Chief in West Jakarta, revealed that the police are still investigating the case.

On Friday (5/1/2024), Saipul Jamil was arrested by the police on the highway around the Jalembar area in West Jakarta.
Several intelligence members immediately surrounded the car carrying Saipul Jamil and some of his colleagues. When apprehended, Ipul refused and shouted.
When contacted by phone, Tambora Police Chief Kompol Donny Agung Harvida revealed that the case involving Saipul Jamil is currently under examination and investigation.
"We are still conducting examinations and investigations, coincidentally we were securing someone, turns out Saipul Jamil was inside. We are still investigating," said Kompol Donny to KapanLagi.com.
Kompol Donny continued, initially the person arrested was not Saipul Jamil, but the person who was with him in the car. Coincidentally, Saipul Jamil was inside the car.
From the police's statement, Saipul Jamil's urine test results showed negative signs of drugs. Meanwhile, his assistant tested positive for drugs. There is a possibility that the person arrested is the assistant.
"We are still developing this, above all, we will inform you. Basically, Saipul's position just now, we checked his urine and it was negative, but his assistant tested positive," said Kompol Donny.
