The singer Nassar has recently been frequently discussed by netizens, especially among Korean music fans or KPopers. They call Nassar Oppa Kiyowo. In Korean, Oppa is a term used by women to address an older brother or older man. Meanwhile, Kiyowo means cute or adorable in an informal way.
As reported by Indosiar's Youtube channel, some netizens even have their own chant for Nassar in the song Gejolak Asmara (Emotional Turmoil) popularized by the man known as King Nassar.
The man with the full name Nassar Fahad Ahmad Sungkar is a graduate of the Indonesian Dangdut Contest (KDI) in 2004. He became the runner-up in that event.
Nassar was born in Bandung, January 5, 1988. Since he was a child, Nassar has been interested in dangdut music. He often participates in festivals from one stage to another.
Nassar has a single called Seperti Mati Lampu composed by Pasha Ungu which was released in 2013. Nassar often sings this song with enthusiasm on stage. This is what caught the attention of KPopers in the country.
Two years later, Nassar released another single called Gejolak Asmara written by Andi Sahrul Hartono. Gejolak Asmara became popular among KPopers with a special chant for this song.
Nassar is known for often wearing unique and glamorous stage costumes. He also frequently changes his hairstyle, from slicked-back to curly models.
Several of Nassar's actions when singing the song 'Seperti Mati Lampu' uploaded on Youtube were flooded with netizens' comments. Netizens' words like "Kiyowo" "Oppa Kiyowo" "Nassar Oppa" dominate the comment section.
Regarding his personal life, Nassar became a topic of conversation after becoming the legitimate husband of Muzdalifah, a wealthy widow. They got married in 2021, but Nassar and Muzdalifah decided to divorce in 2015.
Starting his career with many ups and downs, Nassar has now entered the ranks of top dangdut singers in the country. Nassar has been a judge in several dangdut talent search events, one of which is Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA).
Recently, Nassar is once again being talked about after a netizen uploaded a photo of his edited version that made the McD packaging with his photo as a dangdut singer.
