"Do you know why I live in a narrow alley? To hide my money, so that no one knows," said Ayu Ting Ting. This joking statement was immediately met with laughter from her colleagues in the sitcom.
In another occasion, Ayu Ting Ting made a fact that she lives in a narrow alley house as a reason for her inability to find a partner.

There are also netizens who assume that Ayu Ting Ting and Bilqis intentionally live in a narrow alley house to accompany their parents, Ayah Rozak and Umi Kalsum.
In fact, Ayu Ting Ting is currently building a personal house that is no longer located in a narrow alley. This house is located in South Jakarta, not far from Ayu's extended family's house in Depok.
Ayu Ting Ting intentionally saved money to build her new big and luxurious house. As a result, Ayu Ting Ting still has to live with her extended family in a narrow alley house.
Although located in a narrow alley that can only be passed by one car, Ayu Ting Ting's house is actually very spacious inside! Ayu Ting Ting admitted that she will not sell her old house even when she moves into her new house.
"No (it won't be sold), this one will still be here, because I'm comfortable here, even though the alley is small, it's cool," said Ayu Ting Ting.
