Accused of Neglecting Children, Yendri Lida Speaks Out

Kapanlagi.com - Accusations of child neglect made by Monica Fuji are responded to by Yendri Kim, also known as Yendri Lida. The finalist of LIDA 2018 refuses to accept the accusation of not providing for her child since their official divorce.

"I am the biological father of Zafira. It is impossible for a father to not provide for his child," said Yendri, accompanied by his lawyer, Rudi Kabunang, during a press conference in Blok M, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (4/21) night.

1. Uncertain Income

Yendri admits that he has evidence that he still provides for his child. However, due to the current situation in the Covid-19 pandemic, the amount given is adjusted to his uncertain income.

"Only as much as I can afford, especially in the current condition," he said.

"I will attach proof of transfer later. Even though the support is small. Even though I don't have it, I will try my best," Yendri continued.

2. Hoping to be Given the Opportunity to Meet the Child

As a parent, Yendri hopes that he can be given access to meet and play with his biological child. That's why he hopes that his ex-wife will give him space to be with their child.

"But what I want more is to pay attention to the child in terms of material things, besides milk. But I will take responsibility and face it," he concluded.
