Already Have an Album in Their Country, Erdem and Kursat Hope to Enter the Top Three of DAA 6

Kapanlagi.com - Representatives from Turkey, Erdem and Kursat have attracted the attention of viewers of Dangdut Academy Asia (DAA) 6. Besides having handsome looks, these twin siblings also have beautiful voices.

Apparently, in their home country, Erdem and Kursat are recording artists. They have been in the music industry for about 15 years and have released several albums.

"In Turkey, we are singers, we also enjoy performing, we have been performing in Turkey for about 15 years," said Erdem and Kursat through a translator in an interview with Kapanlagi.com, Monday (7/8/2023).

1. Already Have an Album

Both of them are also graduates of singing competitions in their respective countries and have become favorite champions. "We also like to participate in competitions in Turkey, there is a big competition in Turkey where we ranked fourth and we already have several albums," they said.

Erdem and Kursat admitted that they are interested in participating in DAA 6 because they want to expand their music careers.

"We saw Instagram and really wanted to participate and go abroad. Then we were asked to learn the song (Rhoma Irama's dangdut song titled Kehilangan)," said Erdem and Kursat.

2. Had Difficulty Singing Dangdut Songs

The first time they heard dangdut songs, Erdem and Kursat initially had difficulty. Because dangdut was something new to them. But in the end, they were able to conquer it.

"It was difficult. But we tried to learn it in one day and finally we made it here," they said.

3. Hope

Now, Erdem and Kursat have reached the Top 9 DAA 6 round. Both of them hope to advance to the next round, and make it to the top three.

"The target is to reach the final. With the help of Kak Adibal and others, God willing, hopefully we can make it to the top three," Erdem and Kursat hope.
