Auditions for Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2021 Held Virtually, Here's the Participants' Response

Kapanlagi.com - The Covid 19 pandemic has certainly hindered all activities. However, as time goes by, it seems that people are starting to adapt to the situation.

Just like talent search events that also have to adapt, especially for the audition process. Just like what the Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) 2021 event organized by Indosiar did. This year, the event held virtual auditions.

1. Choose Face-to-Face

Hani, one of the audition participants from North Sumatra, admitted that she prefers face-to-face auditions rather than virtual ones. The participant, who has previously participated in the first season of LIDA auditions, said she felt uncomfortable because the auditions had to be held virtually.

"I prefer direct auditions because it's more comfortable for me, as I think virtual auditions have many obstacles like poor internet connection. I believe it will affect my performance," said Hani during a virtual press conference for the LIDA 2021 auditions on Friday (4/12).

2. No Problem

In addition to Hani, there is also Ari, a participant from North Sumatra, who actually has no problem with virtual auditions. Considering that the judges have to assess the quality of his voice through the Zoom meeting application, Ari prepares himself by frequently singing karaoke through an application on his mobile phone.

"It's not a problem, it goes smoothly because I've been singing on stage since the 2nd grade of junior high school, following my father," said Ari.

"I prepare myself by singing on a karaoke application to test my voice if it sounds good when recorded. I also do it to get used to it," he concluded.

3. #RememberMother'sMessage

If KLovers are also preparing to realize their dreams in LIDA 2021, keep up the spirit. Who knows, you might be the next champion. And also make sure to #RememberMother'sMessage. Wash your hands regularly, wear a mask, and maintain distance to protect yourself from exposure to the coronavirus.
