Ayu Ting Ting Criticized for Being Stingy, Father Rozak: Barking Dogs Don't Bite the Caravan

Kapanlagi.com - Ayu Ting Ting once again receives criticism from netizens. This time, the singer of the song Sambalado is accused of being stingy for driving away and not giving alms to beggars who come to her house.

Rozak, Ayu's father, speaks up about the news. When met at his residence in Depok, West Java, on Saturday afternoon (5/22), the man who is familiarly called Ayu's father feels sad about the excessive news coverage.

"Yes, oh, actually, father is also concerned, the reality is not like that, sometimes when someone (beggar) comes like that, we also shout here, we sometimes feel sorry for Ayu because she's a kind person and no one is willing to do that," said Rozak.

"That's not true, let the 'barking dogs don't bite the caravan,' father always says that," he continued.

1. Don't Want to Respond Too Much

Rozak said that his family doesn't want to react too much to the news. He explained that his house is often visited by beggars.

"There's no need to overreact. Every day, oh God, forgive us, it's not that we don't want this, but because there have been incidents where someone got angry here," he said.

2. Previously Experienced an Unpleasant Incident

Rozak mentioned that there was a beggar who got angry and demanded alms in the past. Therefore, Rozak doesn't want a similar incident to happen again because they are used to giving. Especially since there are mostly women in his house.

"It was so scary when my father reported it to the authorities because the fence was pushed. It happened before Friday prayer, luckily there were no women, it was still scary. That's why at first we gave and sent them home, but it became a habit, not because we're stingy, but because of the trauma," he concluded.
