Caring, Ratu Meta and Ovi Sovianti Visit Flood Victims

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Ratu Meta with Ovi Sovianti or Ovi Duo Serigala visited flood victims in Ciledug Indah, Tangerang, on Friday (3/1). Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the residents who were affected by the flood caused by heavy rain since Tuesday night (31/12/2019).

Ready-to-eat meals and relief packages were brought by Ratu Meta and Ovi Sovianti for the flood victims. They also took the time to talk with the victims.

"This is an extraordinary activity for us. Because we are not looking for sensation, but this comes from the deepest part of our hearts," said Ratu Meta, agreed by Ovi.

1. Unable to See the Flood Victims' Conditions

Diving directly into the flood location, the two beautiful singers couldn't bear to see the condition of the victims who need clean water, clothing, and food. Not to mention those who have to evacuate and experience material losses due to damaged vehicles, electronic equipment, and household furniture due to being submerged in water.

"It's pitiful to imagine that until now their situation is still like this, still muddy and messy, beds, household furniture still in disarray. Moreover, yesterday when the water was still high, the electricity was out, there was no food," said Ratu Meta. "Even finding basic necessities is difficult," added Ovi.

2. Invite Other Artists

They also hope that there are still many other artists and the community who are blessed with wealth to help the flood victims.

"For artist friends, let's dive in directly, just by distributing food they are already very happy," urged Ratu Meta. "For friends, Indonesian citizens, let's help the residents affected by the flood," added Ovi Sovianti.
