Lesti Kejora Holds Her First Concert "Sang Kejora" During Pregnancy, Ready to Celebrate 10 Years of Career
Lesti Kejora will hold a grand concert titled Sang Kejora on October 5, 2024, at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. This concert also marks 10 years of her journey in the Indonesian music industry.
“The preparations are just a few days away. The first rehearsal was with Om Oni, and there will be several more rehearsals with vocal director Kak Adibal Syahrul,” said Lesti at a press conference in Tebet, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/9/2024).
Interestingly, this concert is held while Lesti is pregnant.
"Alhamdulillah, for the past few weeks I have been specially prepared for this concert. I hope to give my best on the big day," he added.
In the concert, Lesti will perform for approximately two hours, presenting songs that are part of her career journey.
“The concept aligns with its tagline, Jejak Langkah. So it really reflects the journey of her career from the beginning of the competition to her new songs now,” she explained.
This concert is one of Lesti's biggest dreams, and she hopes everything goes smoothly. With a concert capacity of 4,400 attendees, Lesti will perform 21 songs, including collaborations with King Nasar and the band Ungu. "We will also feature Judika and Pasya Ungu in this concert," she explained.
“There is King Nassar, later we will sing while launching our new song,” Lesti revealed enthusiastically.
Lesti also hopes that the audience who have purchased concert tickets can enjoy the performance, especially the dangdut music. "If we don’t preserve dangdut, who will? I am very proud to hold this concert and prove that being a dangdut singer is very prestigious. This has been my dream since childhood, and I am grateful to be at this point thanks to the prayers and support of my loved ones," she said. For fans who want to attend this concert, tickets can be purchased through Cognitix with prices starting from Rp 225,000 to Rp 1,800,000.
