In commemoration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Ayu Ting Ting joined in the fun with the local villagers around her home. Since morning, Ayu and her family have been participating in the competitions organized by the August event committee.

"Today, like every year, we gather with the residents near the house to celebrate the 17th, usually with competitions for children, mothers, and fathers," said Ayu Ting Ting when met near her home.
The owner of the name Ayu Rosmalina also revealed that her daughter, Bilqis, has started to feel shy about participating in competitions in her village.
Even though she feels shy, Bilqis continues to compete with children her age. One of the competitions she participated in was the marble racing competition.
Ayu also expressed that she has never missed a competition held in her village.
"Sack racing, putting chopsticks in a bottle, and transferring flour. Until the mothers are all messy. It’s okay to become new powder," said the singer of the song Alamat Palsu.
For Ayu Ting Ting herself, interpreting August 17 is about celebrating independence, not just the independence of the nation, but also its people. </p>
"Exciting, right? Hopefully we are free and independent. May we truly be completely independent," said Ayu Ting Ting.
Not only that, to celebrate the excitement of August in her village, Ayu Ting Ting is willing to not work.
"Yes, intentionally because last year I took a break. Nowadays I don't want to work because it's exciting in the village with many activities," explained the 32-year-old woman.
Ayu also revealed that she has never missed participating in the August competition since she was little. Ayu admitted that she really enjoys the competition.
