Roy's decision to convert is not solely based on his desire to marry Cita Citata. The man of Cita's dreams became a Muslim because of the calling from his heart.

"I am happy and very proud of you, my dear. You have chosen to be a Muslim, not because of me. Not because we want to get married. But truly from the depths of your heart, it is a calling to become a Muslim. My hope is that our future marriage will go smoothly. Even though we are in the midst of a pandemic," said Cita in her latest vlog, (21/4).

1. Already Circumcised

After Roy Geurts officially converted to Islam, there is one question that is often asked to Cita. Many netizens are curious whether Roy has been circumcised or not. Through an Instagram story post on Tuesday (21/4), the beautiful dangdut singer finally gave an answer.

"I don't know why there are so many questions about circumcision. Alhamdulillah, Roy has been circumcised. But he doesn't want it to be shared for his privacy, guys. I have to respect him," wrote Cita Citata.

2. Having an Islamic Name

Before reciting the Shahada, Roy Geurts had prepared several things. One of them is an Islamic name. After considering for a while what name would be suitable, Roy finally chose Maher to complete his full name.

Besides receiving advice from his friend, Roy felt that the name has a good meaning. "The meaning (Maher) is actually good, very talented, a talented person. So in my opinion, it's good," said Roy.

3. Learn Fasting

This Indonesian-Dutch man turns out to be very enthusiastic about welcoming his first Ramadan. Roy Geurts has even learned to fast long before knowing Cita Citata.

"Yes, I have fasted before. But honestly, friends, I failed in the first two weeks. Maybe because I haven't converted yet, I don't know," said Roy Geurts.
