Video Circulating of Cita Citata's Foreign Lover Guided to Recite the Shahada and Officially Convert to Islam

Recently, a video allegedly of Roy Geurts reciting the Shahada in a mosque has been circulating.

The video is circulating widely on gossip accounts. Quoting from Instagram @lambe_turah, a man wearing a koko shirt and a white peci (traditional Muslim cap) is seen sitting cross-legged. He is then guided to recite the two sentences of the shahada.

Apparently, the man is indeed the boyfriend of Cita Citata, Roy Geurts. The same video was also uploaded by Dipo Latief on his personal Instagram account.

2. Dipo Also Becomes a Witness

"Congratulations bro @rygrts! Alhamdulillah (Praise to Allah) who has guided you to Islam, the path to success in this life and the next," wrote Dipo in his post, (17/4).

The video seems to have been documented by Dipo himself. He also attended as a witness during the moment when Roy embraced Islam.

3. Roy Expresses Gratitude

In Dipo's post, Roy left a comment. He expressed his gratitude because Dipo has been a person who has accompanied and guided him to become a Muslim.

"Thank you, brother, for guiding me throughout this process and into the religion. I really appreciate it," wrote Roy.

Until this news was published, there has been no comment from Cita Citata who also accompanied Roy when he recited the two sentences of the shahada.
