Before entering into a romantic relationship with her ex-husband, singer Saipul Jamil, Dewi Perssik had a relationship with a man from junior high school until high school.
"I used to have an engagement with Akpol. I was engaged from junior high school until I graduated from high school. Then I met Saipul Jamil..." she said.

Dewi Perssik's late father, Mochammad Aidil, was known to be a retired police officer. When asked why she didn't follow in her father's footsteps, here's her response.
"Oh, it's not possible. Because I didn't go there (to become a police officer), different directions, so I wanted my husband to be a police officer. But it turns out that the singer (Saipul Jamil) became my husband. Fate is in the hands of God, we don't know anything," said Dewi Perssik.
She added, "But if you personally ask me to become a police officer, no, I won't go there."
