Dewi Perssik Ready to Fight Back Even Though She Hasn't Read the Summons from King Saipul Jamil

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Dewi Perssik has already received the summons letter from her ex-husband, Saipul Jamil who has now changed his name to King Saipul Jamil. However, she has not read the summons letter yet. She plans to open and read it together with her lawyer, Sandy Arifin.

"The summons letter has arrived but hasn't been opened. I plan to go to Dewi's house. Later, I will read and study it," said Sandy Arifin in the Kuningan area, Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/7/2023).

Therefore, Sandy Arifin cannot respond to the summons letter from Saipul Jamil yet. "Because I haven't read it, that's why I can't respond," he said.

After reading and studying the contents of the summons from Saipul Jamil, Sandy will immediately respond to the summons. "If necessary, we will respond. Usually, besides being a warning, a summons can also be an invitation to meet," he said.

Meanwhile, Dewi Perssik does not feel that she has tarnished Saipul Jamil's good name. According to Dewi Perssik, she never mentioned Saipul Jamil's name when talking to guests on her YouTube channel. Therefore, Dewi Perssik wonders why the video is being made into an issue by Saipul Jamil.

"I don't feel like I defamed him. I never mentioned his name or brought up the past. When I invited Meylisa as a source on my YouTube channel, that's true, and I said 'ex-husband' and 'ex-boyfriend,' it's up to the viewers to interpret, but suddenly someone is angry with me," she said.

Dewi Perssik, who has been served with a legal notice by Saipul Jamil, is now considering legal action as a 'counterattack' against Saipul Jamil.

"If we speak the truth, it's okay, it's a fact. But if we speak falsely, it's embarrassing. (Because) I have a child, I have a family that I have to protect, I don't want my past to be talked about in public," she said.

"I will have a new family. My new partner just said, 'What is this?'" she added.

As it is known, Saipul Jamil, through his lawyer Raja Simanjuntak, has sent a legal notice to Dewi Perssik regarding allegations of defamation of character made by Dewi Perssik through social media.
