Diehard Fan of Didi Kempot 'Godfather of Broken Heart', Joshua Suherman Feels Loss Even Though Not Close

As reported from Joshua Suherman's Twitter account on Tuesday (5/5/2020), this Surabaya-born celebrity also felt sad hearing the news of the departure of the maestro of campur sari. So ambyar, he even shed tears.

Didi Kempot is an idol in the eyes of Joshua Suherman. Starting from the habit of listening to Didi Kempot's works, he grew up to become one of the sobat ambyar. Through a series of tweets dedicated to the singer of the song Banyu Langit, Joshua admitted to losing his idol even though they were not close.

"I like the songs of the late since I was little because my father always played his cassette in the car. Also, I used to listen to the DotKo Dot ID show on riaFM every day. So, I feel a sense of loss even though we're not close," he tweeted.

As one of the ambyar friends, Joshua didn't want to miss Didi Kempot's performance on stage. In his tweet on Twitter, he shared the moment of his struggle when watching his idol's performance for the last time.

"In SYNCRONIZE yesterday, I bought a 3-day pass, but on the first day I had to 'sacrifice' it because I attended IdeaFest Comedy in Senayan. But after that (around 11 pm), I went to Kemayoran ONLY for Didi Kempot. And that was the last time I watched the late Didi live. Actually, I bought the 3-day pass before the rundown was released. There was only a Line Up and I didn't know which day Lord Didi would perform. So I bought it every day. And yes, on day-1, I didn't hesitate to go from Senayan to Kemayoran just for Pakde. Because the other Line Up that I wanted to watch that day was already finished," he said.
