Fashion Business, Thomas Djorghi Realizes Past Dreams

Kapanlagi.com - Actor and dangdut singer Thomas Djorghi ventures into the fashion business. Thomas admitted that he had longed for this business since he was still pursuing a career in modeling, back in 2003.

"Yes, I have wanted to venture into the fashion business for a long time, since I started out as a model. When I was a model, I thought about creating my own brand and now it has finally come true," said Thomas when introducing his fashion brand, Prime, in Jakarta on Thursday (6/2).

1. Starting from a Friend's Encouragement

Thomas, who is the older brother of Sultan Djorghi, revealed that he recently realized his dream, starting from the encouragement of his friend, Meisya Siregar, who often praised his appearance.

"She said that I always looked neat, stylish, fashionable, and that what I wore was cool, and she asked why I didn't create my own fashion brand," he said.

From that conversation, Thomas started to be motivated and seriously embarked on his dream business. He admitted that it took him five months to finally launch his fashion products. "It took me 5 months to prepare everything, so by the end of 2019, I had already thought about the designs and everything, and now is the right time," he added. 

2. Adaptation from Daily Fashion

Thomas' clothing brand has recently released products in the form of T-Shirts and Slevee adapted from the usual daily fashion models he wears.

"Later, there will be shirts, jackets, and hoodies. As the name suggests, hopefully Prime will continue to grow and become the first place in the fashion business. The marketing will be done online," he said.
