Kapanlagi.com - As we know, this year's Ramadan is different from previous years. Of course, the holy month that comes once a year brings a longing for various activities from the previous year, starting from ngabuburit to fasting worship activities. This is also felt by LIDA singer, Fauzul Abadi alias Faul LIDA.
Although fasting during the Covid-19 pandemic, Faul feels more focused on his worship.
"In the past, during Ramadan, I often went to the mosque for ta'lim and performed tarawih prayers. Especially in my village, I really miss it, Allah. Usually, I often recite the Quran until dawn, then eat, prepare for the morning prayer, study again, and then go home to sleep. Usually, I focus on worship, but now I feel that the situation is more focused like before because I don't do anything else, so worship feels more focused," said Faul when contacted by Kapanlagi.com via telephone on Monday (27/4).
In addition, Faul also revealed that fasting during this pandemic situation is very different. On the other hand, even in the current situation, Faul feels closer to the Almighty.
"It's really different, very different. In the past, on the first day of fasting, I would go to work, continue working, then break the fast, go out with friends, but now I just stay at home. But there's something good about it, I feel closer to Allah because my worship is smooth and I feel closer to my family," said Faul.
Entering these fasting days, Faul has encountered no obstacles. He stated that he was already used to fasting before and welcomed this year's Ramadan with joy.
"Alhamdulillah, everything is going smoothly for me. There are no obstacles because I'm used to fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, so the first day of fasting is normal for me, but I'm happy because the atmosphere is definitely different. My heart feels more peaceful because I'm grateful to still be able to experience the month of Ramadan," said Faul.
