Finally Free from Prison, Saipul Jamil Will Record the Song 'Sanggupkah kau Setia'

Kapanlagi.com - Various agendas have been prepared by singer Saipul Jamil after being released from prison. Starting from visiting the graves of his parents and his late wife Virginia Anggraeni. Then, the singer who is familiarly called Bang Ipul also plans to swim at the beach.

"Today, I intend to visit the graves of my parents and my late wife, and then I want to swim in the sea. I have been bathing using prison water all this time," said Saipul Jamil at Cipinang Prison, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/9/2021).

Even after being released from prison, Saipul Jamil does not stop creating. He continues to work as a singer. In fact, Saipul Jamil plans to release a new song that was written while in prison.

"I will release a single called Sanggupkah Kau Setia. So, for those who claim to love me, are you really loyal and willing to wait for me?" he said.

Actually, Saipul Jamil wanted to record at Cipinang Penitentiary, where he served his sentence. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, Saipul Jamil canceled his plan.

"Alhamdulillah I happened to have the desire to record. I want to record in prison. But because according to Mr. Toni's words (Kalapas LP Cipinang) it's still COVID, so it's not possible," Saipul Jamil concluded.

During his stay in the hotel, this artist, who is familiarly called bang Ipul, admitted that he learned many new things. One of them is how to judge whether someone is good or bad.

"What's certain is that I gained a lot of knowledge and got to know people's personalities. I can say that it's like returning to the wild, in the wild there are genuinely good people, people pretending to be good, genuinely bad people, so good people become hypocrites. From there, I can judge people and get to know them," he said.

However, Saipul Jamil doesn't want to have negative thoughts about people. Because according to him, evil thoughts sometimes arise from within himself.

"Now I don't suspect people anymore. In the past, I used to think that everyone was good and there was no such thing as a bad person," he said.

"Sometimes I perceive someone as bad in my heart, but it turns out that person is actually bad," he concluded.
