Fitri Carlina Brings Dangdut to America Through a Charity Concert

In this hybrid concert, some audience members will be present while the majority will participate virtually, and it will be broadcasted live from Tampa Bay, Florida, United States. Fitri Carlina will perform her latest single and collaborate with an American singer to perform "Only Option."

"It's amazing to be able to collaborate with various artists, it's like realizing my dream. I recently collaborated with Wali Band, and now I can collaborate with Korean and American musicians, which brings me to the international industry," said Fitri during a virtual press conference on Thursday, January 28.

"There are some terms in Indonesia that are difficult to translate into America, dangdut music language is really difficult, like the nuances, if not supported by a translator, it will be difficult, this is the taste of international dangdut," said Fitri Carlina.

In addition to Fitri, there is also an Indonesian singer who will perform at the event, namely Dewi Muninggar. She will perform songs in English written directly by Jimmy Cozier, Jimmy Valentine, and Arden beatz.
