Of course, this news brings joy to Saipul Jamil's family, fans, and friends, including singer Dewi Perssik. As Saipul Jamil's ex-wife, Dewi Perssik expressed her happiness upon hearing that her ex-husband will breathe the air of freedom after four years of imprisonment.
"I'm really happy because no matter what, he is my ex-husband and feels like a brother to me. So, it's been too long for him there. Hopefully, he can find a job and succeed like before," said Dewi Perssik on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Monday (25/1/2021).
After parting ways with Saipul Jamil, Dewi Perssik still maintains a good relationship. In fact, Saipul Jamil is already considered like her own brother. After her ex is released, the Owner of the Saw Dance gladly accepts if Saipul Jamil wants to collaborate in terms of work.
"Let's work together with him, it would be fun. Because we're destined to make money together but not destined to be together romantically. Well, there will definitely be surprises. Basically, me and Mas Saipul will create a couple, hopefully easily," said the singer who is commonly called Depe.
Dewi Perssik said that Saipul Jamil will be released in September 2021. One thing for sure, she warmly welcomes Saipul Jamil's arrival in the entertainment world.
"They said it will be in September, if not October. Hopefully, it will be realized, amen," concluded Dewi Perssik.
