Fitri Carlina's First Experience Celebrating Ramadan This Year Far from Beloved Husband

"This year's Ramadan feels a bit special because it's our first LDR Ramadan. Mas Hendra's work base is already in Doha," said Fitri Carlina when met in the SCBD area, Monday (25/4/2024).

Fitri Carlina is worried about her husband who is currently in Qatar. Usually, every Ramadan is always filled with family togetherness, such as having suhoor together and being accompanied while fasting. That's why the 36-year-old singer plans to join her husband in Qatar.

“That's why I asked for permission from management to take a month off. I want to join Mas Hendra there, accompany Mas Hendra in Doha,” she said.

"It's really sad, it will be very homesick if fasting usually accompanied by family, at least there's someone who cooks, someone accompanies for suhoor,” she continued.

Nevertheless, Fitri Carlina feels grateful because at the beginning of this year's Ramadan, she and her husband performed umrah in the holy land. Fitri Carlina admitted that the first Ramadan in the Holy Land was one of her dreams that finally came true.

"Yesterday was the beginning of fasting, the beginning of Ramadan, my husband invited me to perform Umrah first, I am very grateful. It has been my dream to be in Mecca on the first night of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah, it came true," she said.

Fitri Carlina feels that accompanying her husband amidst her busy schedule is a responsibility that must be taken wholeheartedly.

"So, I am really a housewife who takes care of my husband. I have been focusing on my career for several years, but now I really want to focus on taking care of my husband. He is far away now, and it would be a shame not to join him," she concluded.
