Former Victim, Maria Eva Directly Helps Flood Victims

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Maria Eva admits to having been a flood victim. She even had to accept that two of her cars were damaged because they were submerged in water. Fortunately, she no longer experiences the flood this time.

"I have experienced being flooded twice up to my chest, and two cars were destroyed because of being submerged. At that time, I still lived in Kelapa Gading. Now I live in an apartment," Maria Eva recalled when visiting the flood victim evacuation post at Masjid Raya KH. Hasyim Asyari, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Saturday (4/1).

As someone who has been a flood victim, she can feel the pain of the residents who are currently flood victims.

Therefore, when she directly went to the flood location with the Red and White Warrior Headquarters (Mabes LMP) under the leadership of the Chairman of LMP, HM. Arsyad Cannu, Maria Eva tried to entertain the children and residents so that they could overcome their trauma and smile again after experiencing the disaster.

Not only providing moral support, Maria Eva and Mabes LMP also provide assistance in the form of diapers, packed rice, tea, sugar, and groceries.

"I also feel very sad, suffering like them. Therefore, we directly come down to give support and donations. They are already very pitiful, they need support, their spirits need to be lifted, especially our children who want to go to school, there are no books, no school uniforms. Especially the little children who need diapers," she said.

2. Hope to Not Experience Floods Again

As a citizen, she hopes that Jakarta as the capital of the country will no longer experience floods. "This is the sixth point. We plan to find points that need to be visited and helped. We always pray that there will be no more floods in DKI," said the woman who is currently active in Mabes LMP as the Vice Chairperson of the Social Department.
