Having Mental Health Problems, Weni D'Academy Sometimes Feels Excessively Sad and Happy

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Weni D'Academy admits to currently having problems with her mental health. It was initially hidden from her parents and siblings before finally being discovered.

"It's been a while, but Weni used to hide it from her surroundings, from her parents, until it was discovered a month ago. Because it relapsed when her parents came here. Her boyfriend already knows, and he has been helping to cover it up from her parents and siblings," said Weni when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/3/2020).

1. Can be Sad, Can be Happy

Weni then explained what kind of disturbances she experienced. Sometimes she can feel sad without any reason. At other times, she can suddenly feel happy and very enthusiastic.

"It's really fatal to the point of disrupting my work. I felt it when I was singing the other day, I couldn't control myself on stage. My mood wanted to cry even though I wasn't sad," explained Weni Wahyuni, the owner of this full name.

"Happiness can sometimes be excessive, laughing a lot, talking a lot, and then planning to go shopping for one pair of shoes at the mall, but end up buying ten at the same time," added the runner-up of the talent search event D'Academy season three.

2. Causes of Emotional Ups and Downs

Furthermore, the woman from Pontianak explained how the ups and downs of emotions can affect one's mood. It is usually caused by several things, such as having an argument with a loved one.

"Why does it happen when there are problems with parents, fighting with a partner or friend, receiving unpleasant treatment at work," she said.
