Inul Daratista Accepts Offer to Voice an Animation Series by Indonesian Children

Kapanlagi.com - Amidst her busy schedule, dangdut singer Inul Daratista accepts an offer to become the voice actor for an animation series titled INI BUDI. She takes this opportunity because she is fond of the character Bu Nur, which has been entrusted to her.

"Bu Nur is a tough woman, a strong woman, hardworking, and loves her family. There are many positive aspects to her. So, I feel like it represents me because I always try to avoid very negative things. That's why I wanted to accept this role in the series," said Inul during a virtual press conference on Monday (5/4/2021).

1. Contributing to the Advancement of Local Animation

Despite Bu Nur's role in the INI BUDI animation by Iskandar Salim, Inul Daratista wants to contribute to the advancement of domestic animations with positive content. Because up until now, children have been more interested in foreign animations, whether in the form of series or films.

"The INI BUDI animation has a great story, with a theme of diversity. For kids nowadays, I see that they are lacking in this aspect, as their ideas are more focused on the outside. That's why it can educate children about diversity, the beauty of Indonesia, and its various cultures. It's very interesting for children to understand. This is good education for them to preserve in the future," explained the woman from Pasuruan.

2. Friendship Among Children of Different Ethnicities

THIS BUDI is created through a collaboration between Paragon Pictures and Indika Foundation. It tells the story of Budi's friendship with his friends from different ethnic groups.

In addition to Inul Daratista, this animated series that will be aired on Youtube is also enlivened by child actor M Adhiyat as Budi. Then there is Destiny David Obinna voicing Beta, Callysta Novela voicing Wati, Miska Kawai voicing Ni Luh, and Reyhan voicing Iwan.
