Syahriadi or affectionately called Yadi is entangled in a location-based love story, also known as cinlok, with another academy named Wiranti. While D'Academy 5 has ended, their love story is just beginning! Yadi and Wiranti are predicted to become the next Ega Noviantika - Rafly DA, whose love story also began in Dangdut Academy.
In a podcast episode on Afdhal Yusman's YouTube channel, Yadi & Wiranti share the story of how they first met and fell in love.
For those who don't know, Yadi (22) is a participant from Barabai, South Kalimantan. Meanwhile, Wiranti (20) is from Gorontalo. They met at the dormitory where the D'Academy participants live.
Initially, Yadi tried to get to know Wiranti while borrowing a power bank. "At that time, I borrowed it for real, not as a trick, only after that we got to know each other," said Yadi to Afdhal Yusman.
Wiranti immediately knew Yadi's behavior at that time as a trick. "I thought, ah, this is a trick. Even though my phone's battery was also low. But because he insisted, well, okay," said Wiranti.
The first meeting was not really memorable for both of them. Wiranti only found out later that Yadi is the viral singer of 'Pecah Seribu' on YouTube. Only after that, they started following each other on Instagram.
Then, Yadi admitted that he was the first to actively approach Wiranti. Sending messages and inviting to create content together, Yadi did it to win Wiranti's heart.
However, Wiranti admitted that at that time she ignored Yadi. "I don't know, in the beginning, I acted cool," said Wiranti while laughing.
Feeling guilty, Wiranti finally agreed to make a singing content together with Yadi. Who would have thought, the video turned out to receive positive response and went viral on TikTok.
As time went by, Wiranti felt comfortable when looking into Yadi's eyes while duetting with him. "Because we often make videos together, from that gaze, it entered my heart and eventually made me feel comfortable. And he is also a good person," said Wiranti.
Finally, Yadi dared to 'propose' Wiranti in front of their dorm mates. They are serious, they have even discussed the future.
Successfully making netizens emotional, they even say that Yadi and Wiranti are such a compatible couple. They are even ready to accompany each other until marriage!
Yadi himself had to end his journey in D'Academy 5 in the Top 12 round. Meanwhile, Wiranti had to be satisfied until the Top 18 round.
