According to Arist, Saipul Jamil should apologize to the victims of child sexual crimes (pedophilia), especially those who have been hurt by him. This step is considered to bring sympathy from the public compared to parading in luxury cars, which seems to show that he is not guilty and does not regret his actions.
"First, he should apologize to the victims, apologize to the children who have almost the same case even though he is not the perpetrator. Because the trauma of sexual violence victims will last for a long time. That's what should be done," said Arist Merdeka Sirait in Batu, on Thursday (8/9).
"Then, thirdly, apologize to the public, that I will not do it again. That I have gone through it. That (action) is wrong and he will receive sympathy," he emphasized.

As is known, Saipul Jamil's return from prison was greeted with a parade of luxury cars. He was even adorned with flowers like a hero. The welcome was considered to hurt the victims of child sexual violence.
"That hurts. Imagine hurting the hearts of the victims. It is not educational and not worthy of appearing in the media, because Saipul Jamil is not a figure or an artist who can serve as an example. It is an insult to the dignity of the victims and the thousands of children who have experienced the same sexual crimes as what Saipul Jamil did," he emphasized.
Arist also reminded that sexual offenders must go through a recovery process to reduce the risk of repeating their actions. So, if it has been done before, many people should know about it.
"What guarantees are there that he will not commit the same act when he is released? Who guarantees that? Has there been a recovery process during the punishment?
There is no news about it. Because offenders like that, if not treated, will repeat their actions, and even the victims will do the same," he explained.
In the perspective of Child Protection, according to Arist, perpetrators of sexual crimes like Saipul Jamil are considered extraordinary crimes. His career should be ended for one or two years, as many countries have done.
"Just like corruption cases, their political careers are ended for several years, it can be done," said Arist.
Komnas PA invites the public to boycott all shows that expose Saipul Jamil and asks the public to turn off their televisions for programs featuring the former husband of Dewi Perssik.
"Komnas once again, from the perspective of Child Protection, hurts thousands of people, as almost 58 percent of violence victims are victims of sexual violence. From that perspective, boycott," he emphasized.

Arist also ensured that during the incident, the victims were still children and the court's decision was reinforced. Arist said that the victims suffered trauma as a result of the welcoming party.
"That was the report we received at that time, and many people doubted their age, that they were under 18 years old. Otherwise, it would be impossible for the court to establish that. This case could also involve adults, but in this case, it involves children," he explained.
As known, Saipul Jamil was found guilty in a case of sexual abuse against a minor named DS (17). The victim was a third-grade high school student who was known through a music program on private television, where Saipul Jamil served as a judge.
Ipul was also found guilty in a case of bribery to influence the decision of a court clerk. Ipul was released on September 2nd after completing his sentence for these two cases.
