Mediation Fails, Angga Wijaya Continues Divorce Proceedings Against Dewi Perssik

Kapanlagi.com - Angga Wijaya and Dewi Perssik have just undergone mediation at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (4/7/2022). Angga Wijaya stated that the mediation with Dewi Perssik did not come to a resolution and failed. Angga Wijaya remains firm in his decision to divorce the dangdut singer who popularized the saw dance.

"Earlier, we met with Ms. Dewi and underwent mediation with the mediator appointed by the Chief Judge, but we failed to reach a resolution. Therefore, I am sticking to my initial decision to continue with the lawsuit," said Angga Wijaya at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (4/7/2022).

However, Angga Wijaya cannot reveal the reason behind his decision to divorce. What is clear is that Angga Wijaya's decision to separate from Dewi Perssik is final.

"There are some reasons that I cannot share at this time, and I apologize for that. The decision to divorce has been made after careful consideration, and I hope it is the best decision for me and for her," said Angga.

1. Divorce Due to Financial Problems?

Reportedly, Angga Wijaya and Dewi Perssik separated due to financial issues. Moreover, Angga himself does not have a permanent job.

"If they want to comment on the financial aspect that I never gave to her, let them be, they are not with me 24 hours a day, they don't know what I do every day, what I work on, I'm sure they don't know, so just let it be," said Angga.

2. Dewi Perssik's Third Marriage

Previously reported, Dewi Perssik and Angga Wijaya attended the first hearing of their divorce case in the South Jakarta Religious Court. Based on the Case Search Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta Religious Court, the divorce request was filed by Aang Angga Wijaya Bin Dahya Efendi against Dewi Murya Agung Binti H Moch Adil.

Angga filed the lawsuit on June 20, 2022. The lawsuit has been received with number No 2442/P.dt.G/2022/PA.JS. For information, Dewi Perssik officially married Angga Wijaya on September 10, 2017. This is Dewi Perssik's third marriage.

Previously, she was married to dangdut singer Saipul Jamil in 2005. However, they officially divorced in 2007. After that, the singer of the song Mimpi Manis married Aldi Taher in 2008. Their marriage ended in 2009.
