Nabila LIDA Releases Single 'Sembunyi Dalam Tawa', Reminded of Ex?

Kapanlagi.com - Nabila Ellisa, a participant of Liga Dangdut Indonesia in 2018, became the 5th champion at that time. She has now released her debut single titled Sembunyi Dalam Tawa.

Nabila, who comes from Takengon, Aceh, is now with 3D Entertainment and STREAM Management, where she chose a song composed by MR_Nurbayan, which has a soft voice character and a suitable appearance to perform the song.

“Nabila's soft voice character, and her elegant and hijab-wearing appearance, along with the Malay elements in MR_Nurbayan's song, are suitable for Nabila to perform,” said Barsena Besthandi, the A&R Team of 3D Entertainment.

1. A Journey Full of Twists and Turns

Previously, Nabila often performed pop songs, and eventually she conquered dangdut music until this 17-year-old singer chose a song that went through twists and turns.

“The song selection went through a long journey full of twists and turns, and Nabila wanted a theme that she had experienced before. So, it wasn't easy to find the right one. Well, the song Sembunyi Dalam Tawa tells the story of a broken heart due to our selfishness, and it really represents Nabila, especially with its slightly pop music style. So, this is the best choice for Nabila,” said Nabila.

2. Crying Remembering Ex

The song 'Sembunyi Dalam Tawa' sung by Nabila also released a music video. In the music video, Nabila prepared herself to cry for real when she remembered her ex.

"I am happy to give my all, so when the director said 'cry', I immediately prepared myself to cry during the take, and then I cried for real, but I don't know who I remembered, maybe my ex, haha," said Nabila, who has completed more than 30 FTV titles until now.

3. Becoming a Model

During the production of the music video, Nabila admitted that she was happy when experiencing shooting a music video, because out of all the fields she has tried, one thing she had never done before was being a model.

"I really love it when I have the part of photoshoot as a model, because in reality, I also want to try being a model, so I take the acting seriously, show the expression, the style, aah I love it," explained Nabila.
