"I had a healthy food business in the mall that I tried to keep going, but because of the situation and conditions, the income drastically decreased," said Rizky Kinos in the Facebook Rakit Bangkit Social For Good event some time ago.

"Finally, a month ago, I had to close it rather than making the hole bigger," he continued.

1. Nycta Gina's Hijab Business

Meanwhile, Nycta Gina's hijab business, which she has been running for the past three years, has not been heavily affected by the pandemic as it is primarily sold online.

"Coincidentally, if the hijab business has been online for the past three years. Honestly, it has been affected by COVID, yes. But maybe not too much of a significant loss because we don't have an offline store," said Nycta Gina.

2. Creating Other Profitable Products

However, she does not deny that her hijab sales have declined, especially leading up to Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, Nycta Gina is looking for other ways by producing clothing that is needed during the pandemic.

"The most affected is during the month of Ramadan leading up to Eid al-Fitr. So we look for ways, people don't need Eid clothes. People need masks, so we produce masks according to our brand," explained Nycta Gina.

"As a mother, I don't wear Eid clothes but wear pajamas at home, wear nice nightgowns or house headscarves. Okay, to cover that, we produce something else. In the end, thank God, the turnover is the same as the previous year, so it's better," she concluded.
