"The decision is divorce, but there is a 14-day period for the defendant to file a legal appeal if the defendant does not accept the decision," said Dendy Zuhairil, Jenita Janet's legal representative when contacted on Tuesday (17/3).

Jenita Janet once mentioned that the reason she wanted to separate from Alief was because she didn't want her happiness to be sacrificed. "I never want to hurt anyone, no matter how small. Especially someone I used to love. I don't want to oppress him. But I can't sacrifice my own happiness," she said on Tuesday (7/1).

When she appeared as a guest on the Hotman Paris Show, Jenita revealed again the reason she filed for divorce from Alief. She emphasized that there was no third party in their relationship.

"Actually, there is no other man in my life, I just want to find 'what am I looking for in a marriage?' I haven't found it yet," said Jenita as quoted from the Hotman Paris Show (30/1).

"There are many aspects, not just material things, but his character should be such that he won't make me worry. Automatically, he must also be good, not make me anxious," she said.
