Now Successful & Married to a Rich Businessman, Zaskia Gotik Used to Struggle to Buy Stage Costumes Until She Had to Borrow

Zaskia Gotik had to go through a challenging journey to reach her current position. In her younger days, Neng Gotik sang at other people's events. She took the opportunity to gain experience and help her family's economy.

1. Payment of 75 Thousand

At that time, Zaskia Gotik admitted that she received a payment of around 75 thousand rupiah per performance. She received that income after singing for a whole day and night.

"Back then, I was paid 70 thousand for a whole day and night," she said.

"The highest was 100 thousand. Plus, there were additional earnings from tips," said Sosih, Zaskia Gotik's father.

2. Inul Daratista as an Inspiration

Despite facing various obstacles, Sirajuddin Mahmud's wife still had a strong determination to change her fate and become a successful dangdut singer. Inul Daratista was the one who inspired Neng Gotik to continue fighting for her dreams.

"Bunda Inul was very inspiring to Eneng. When Eneng was still young, she watched Inul's videos, saw her dancing, and saw her success. Eneng wanted to be like her," explained Zaskia.

3. Credit for Stage Costumes

Zaskia Gotik's desire for success is also supported by her parents. In order to perform to the fullest, Zaskia even received assistance from her mother to buy stage costumes by paying on credit.

"Eneng said she was taking credit to buy costumes for performances. My mother credited it for 200 thousand. The payment (credit) was made in 5 installments. It seems like (back then) it was a huge debt," reminisced Jumaenah.
