Soimah Pancawati, a multi-talented artist who is now widely recognized, has a life journey filled with twists and turns. Born in Pati, Central Java on September 29, 1980, her artistic talent was evident from an early age. Her artistic skills were developed from a young age in the fields of dance, theater, and campursari music. Now, Soimah is known as a talented pesinden and dangdut singer.

Currently, Soimah is one of the senior figures in the arts & entertainment scene in the country. Thanks to her extensive experience, she has been appointed as a judge in the D'Academy 7 event. The judging panel often provides input and firm criticism to all participants. One of the judges who does not hesitate to give sharp comments is Soimah.

Soimah has become the most respected and feared judge among the participants. Her sharp yet constructive comments certainly make several participants feel nervous when performing in front of her.

Soimah's artistic talent has flowed abundantly since childhood, especially thanks to a family environment that is close to the arts. She began to show interest in traditional Javanese art at a young age.

Her family also fully supports Soimah's interests, which then led her to pursue formal education in the field of art.

Before gaining popularity, Soimah had a childhood filled with hard work in her hometown. From elementary school to junior high, she had experience as a fish smoker and processing the catch from the sea.

Soimah began learning to dance, singing traditional songs, and exploring various other Javanese arts, which became a strong foundation for her career. Her extraordinary vocal ability has earned her various prestigious awards.

Among them are the Champion 1 of the Karaoke Dangdut Star se-Jateng-DIY, Champion 1 of the Television Star, and the Champion of Dara Ayu, which further solidifies her talent.

After graduating from junior high school, Soimah continued her education at SMKI (Sekolah Menengah Karawitan Indonesia) majoring in karawitan in Yogyakarta.

Soimah briefly continued her education at the Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, but she had to stop in the 6th semester. Her busy schedule as a very popular wayang kulit singer forced her to face a difficult choice.

The continuous performance calls eventually made Soimah choose to fully focus on her singing career.

Soimah's career on television began as a backing singer on the program 'Seger' on one of the national television stations. The early days of her career in Jakarta were marked by a tough struggle to find a permanent place to live and having to move around.

Currently, Soimah has various assets that are proof of her hard work. One of them is the Tulunga pavilion in Yogyakarta, which is rented out for various events.
