Selfi Yamma is one of the D'Coaches in the D'Academy 7 event alongside Fildan & Melly Lee. The winner of LIDA 2018 is known as the Queen of Cengkok due to her ability to play various distinctive, melodious, and beautiful cengkok twists while singing, making every song she performs.

As a D'Coach, Selfi Yamma has a student named Safana who comes from Magetan, East Java. Safana is a junior high school student who also performs street music, going from market to market after school and during holidays.

After Safana performed, Selfi was seen giving encouragement directly. Selfi admitted that Safana is her student who tends to be quiet and lacks confidence.

As a mentor, Selfi always provides support and assurance to Safana that she has the talent and potential to shine in the Indonesian dangdut scene.

"You can do it, just focus, don’t think about whether you will pass or not, what’s important is that you have shown your best," said Selfi with teary eyes.

Safana herself is part of Selfi Yamma's team, dubbed Team Ratu Cengkok, along with 13 other participants. If she continues to improve, it is not impossible for Safana to advance further in the D'Academy 7 competition.

Selfi Yamma is expected to share her knowledge with her 14 students. Her seven-year career in the dangdut scene serves as her main asset as D'Coach.

Until now, Selfi Yamma is referred to as one of the best graduates from the Indosiar dangdut event. She remains active with several singles, on-air and off-air appearances, and has received several awards.
