Performing the song 'Gejolak Asmara', Aco Successfully Rocked the Stage of LIDA 2020

The Top 70 group 3 white concert that aired last night (29/1) featured 5 provincial ambassadors, namely Aco (Southeast Sulawesi), Heru (West Nusa Tenggara), Juana (South Sumatra), Nurul (North Kalimantan), and Shopi (Riau Islands). 

Performing the song Gejolak Asmara which was popularized by Nassar, Aco received a standing ovation from all the Jury Panel and received a shower of praise from the white team Jury Panel. According to Lesty DA, Aco performed flawlessly and she also thoroughly enjoyed Aco's performance.

1. Juana's Captivating Performance for the Judges

Just like Aco, good luck also sided with Juana (South Sumatra) who sang the song Fading Love. With full of passion, Juana managed to captivate the Jury Panel by receiving 3 standing ovations. Reza DA, who was present as a Jury Panel, seemed satisfied with Juana's performance last night.

“When you deliver the words at the beginning of the song, the feel is already felt, you have to maintain that,” said Lesti.

2. Lesti Amazed by Nurul from North Kalimantan

Once again, Lesti DA fell in love with the performance of the Provincial Representative. This time it was Nurul's turn (North Kalimantan) to perform the song Dream. Although the performance was stunning, there were some notes that according to the Jury Panel sounded unstable.

Unlike Aco, Juana, and Nurul, the performances of Shopi (Riau Islands) and Heru (West Nusa Tenggara) did not receive positive responses. The song Balqis performed by Heru was considered unsatisfactory by the Jury Panel.

“You are too focused on the movements that you forget about the content of the song,” said Weny DA.

3. Shopi Appears Imperfect

Meanwhile, Shopi (Riau Islands) sang the song Ku Ingin in a lifeless manner, making it unable to be enjoyed according to Lesty DA. 

All five participants have showcased their best performances in front of the entire Jury. Based on the polling results of LIDA 2020 Top 70 Concert, Aco ranked first, followed by Juana, Shopi, Heru, and Nurul in last place.

The final result determined that Heru (West Nusa Tenggara) had to be eliminated and end his dreams on the LIDA 2020 stage. Meanwhile, Nurul (North Kalimantan), who was saved by the Jury, successfully advanced to the next round.
