Starting from covering songs together, comedian Entis Sutisna or familiarly known as Sule is getting closer to singer Ucie Sucita. Moreover, they both come from the same region, West Java.
"I have often worked together with Kang Sule, singing, so we often meet in the context of creating, so we clicked and got the chemistry," said Ucie Sucita in Jakarta, Friday (26/5/2023).
The strong bond between them made MyMusic Records interested in pairing them up to sing a duet titled 'Perjalanan Cinta'.
In its making, the song was created by Sule and his eldest son, Rizky Febian, with music producer Ishal Musik.
"The song was actually made a long time ago, in 2018. It was Iky (Rizky Febian) who wrote the lyrics, and I did the tone," said Sule.
To make it sound more current, the music rhythm of the song was slightly changed. "Not too much was changed. Maybe just the music to make it more enjoyable and modern," said Sule.
The process of making this single, according to Sule and Ucie, was done as maximally as possible and there were many unforgettable moments, from recording, photoshoot, to making the music video.
"Honestly, this is my first music video that I had to shoot from morning until midnight to get the best moments," said Ucie Sucita, agreed by Sule.
In the music video, Ucie is portrayed as a woman who was abandoned by her fiancé. She wanted to commit suicide, but Sule, who played the role of an online motorcycle taxi driver, saved Ucie from jumping into the river.
In short, love grew between them with a commitment to accept each other's past and move forward together, through thick and thin.
The music video ends with the love story of Sule and Ucie, who end up happily married. "I have never been married before and I am wearing a traditional Sundanese wedding dress. It makes me want to get married soon," said Ucie Sucita.
